Where We Work
Our crew works all over the Joliet area, and we've seen just about every kind of bathroom the region has to offer. Older homes near the Cathedral Area and downtown often come with plaster walls, aging galvanized pipes, and floor joists that have settled over the years, while newer homes in the western subdivisions tend to be simpler to update. We also build plenty of basement bathrooms, which bring their own drainage considerations. In addition to Joliet, we serve:
- Plainfield, IL
- Shorewood, IL
- Lockport, IL
- Romeoville, IL
- New Lenox, IL
- Crest Hill, IL
- Channahon, IL
- Minooka, IL
- Mokena, IL
- Bolingbrook, IL
How Much Will My Bathroom Remodel Cost?
Two bathrooms of the same size can end up with very different price tags. The biggest drivers are the finishes and fixtures you select, whether the toilet, shower, or sink is moving to a new spot, how much tile is going in, and what turns up once the old materials come out. Upgrades like a heated tile floor — a popular choice for Chicagoland winters — or a new exhaust circuit add electrical work, while a basement bathroom may need a pump or a new tie-in to the main drain. One tip that saves money: put your premium materials where they'll be noticed most. A small powder room, for example, can handle high-end tile or a hardwood vanity without much impact on the total, simply because there's so little floor and cabinet to cover. Rather than tossing out a ballpark that may not match your home, we'll come take a look, hear what you want, and put together an itemized quote you can review before any demolition starts.

The People Behind the Work
Our remodelers are tradespeople first. Between them, they've installed hundreds of tubs, showers, vanities, and tile floors, and they know that the parts of a bathroom you never see — the framing, the drain slope, the waterproofing — matter just as much as the parts you do. Before anything gets ordered, we'll talk with you about how your household uses the room and plan the work around it. If something isn't right, we fix it.
We've earned our reputation in Joliet by showing up when we say we will, keeping job sites clean, and finishing what we start. There's real satisfaction in handing a homeowner the keys to a bathroom they're excited to use, and that's what keeps our team motivated. Big project or small, we take on the whole thing from planning to cleanup. Pick up the phone — we'd love to hear what you have in mind for your bathroom!
Inside a Complete Bathroom Remodel
Good bathrooms are planned long before the hammer comes out. The first step is sitting down to measure the room, map out the layout, and choose what's going in — tub or shower, vanity, toilet, tile, lighting, and the trim and hardware that pull it all together. This is also when we decide whether anything needs to move. Shifting a toilet a few feet or turning an alcove tub into a walk-in shower changes the drain and vent layout underneath, so it has to be settled now. We'll look at the practical side too: is the subfloor stiff enough for tile, can the water heater fill a deep tub with hot water, and does the existing drain sit under where the new tub filler and showerhead will go? Permit applications go in during this stage. Every decision made up front is one that won't cause a costly delay later.
Next, the old bathroom comes out. Tile, fixtures, drywall, and flooring are removed, often to bare framing, and that's the moment any soft spots, old leaks, or mold become visible and can be repaired properly. If the floor has bounce in it, this is the time to reinforce the joists or replace the subfloor, because tile is only as solid as what's underneath it. Then the rough-in begins. Plumbers run new supply and drain lines, electricians wire lights, outlets, fans, and any heated flooring, and we install blocking in the walls for grab bars, towel bars, and the vanity, even if you don't plan to add grab bars right away. Waterproofing comes after that. For a tiled shower, the base is sloped toward the drain, the liner or membrane wraps several inches up each wall and across the curb, and the pan is filled with water and left to sit to prove it doesn't leak. Only after it passes inspection do we close everything in.
Finally, the finish work brings it all together. Tile is set on the floor and shower walls and grouted, the tub or shower base goes in, and the vanity, countertop, toilet, mirror, and fixtures are installed. Plumbers and electricians make their final connections, light fixtures and the vent fan go up, and the room gets its trim and paint. Before we wrap up, we test everything with you — running water through every drain, checking for drips at each valve, making sure the fan is moving air out of the house, and confirming that every fixture is tight and sealed. Those last details are what separate a bathroom that looks finished from one that truly is, and it's the moment most homeowners have been looking forward to since the first day of demo.
